1.1 Bestedingen en Benefits
  • De meest voorkomende gebruik van cesium metaal is als een boorvloeistof. Het wordt ook gebruikt in optische glasfabricage.
  • In vacuümbuizen en stralings- apparatuur dit metaal wordt toegepast als katalysator-promotor.
  • belangrijkste toepassing Rubidium is in de productie van glas.
  • Rubidium kan heel gemakkelijk geïoniseerd en daarom wordt het gebruikt Ionenmotoren, maar nog steeds minder efficiënt dan cesium.
